Orchard Pig needed a social media marketing campaign to get their customers to interact with the brand. Their customer base was seen as outgoing, outdoorsy people who like trying something new.
To utilise social media and Twitter specifically I chose to use a hashtag campaign that would allow the social media team to utilise user generated content. The content would also be posted originally on the consumers social pages creating organic growth and brand recognition. The hashtag #Craftingmemories was generated by the idea that their customer base was likely to go to events and do outgoing activities combined with Orchard Pig branding themselves as the only true crafted cider company.
By using a collage style to depict memory making activities I gave the hashtag a visual identity, a hand-crafted memory. This method could be used to create various scenarios that the company would see their consumers. The idea being for consumers to post their own images of them partaking in activities or at events.
